Achieving the Highest Score in Implementing SOE Core Values, Semen Gresik Wins the 2022 AKHLAK Award in the Infrastructure Services Cluster
Rembang, July 18, 2022 - PT Semen Gresik (PTSG) won the 2022 AKHLAK Award organized by an independent agency, ACT International Consulting. PTSG achieved the highest score for the category of SOE Subsidiaries in the Infrastructure Services Cluster.
The award was handed over and witnessed online by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma'ruf Amin, the Head of the People's Consultative Assembly, Bambang Soesatyo, the Minister of SOEs, Erick Tohir, and the Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission, Nurul Ghufron, to the President Director of PTSG, Subhan.
The AKHLAK Award 2 was held to demonstrate the commitment to implementing the values of AKHLAK, which stands for Amanah (Trustful), Kompeten (Competent), Harmonis (Harmonious), Loyal, Adaptif (Adaptive), and Kolaboratif (Collaborative) as the core values of Indonesian SOEs, for the last two years.
The President Director of PTSG, Subhan, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the award. He considered this achievement as the company's success in performing a comprehensive transformation in its business model and operations as well as in its human capital or human resources.
''It is an honor for PTSG to win this award. I offer my gratitude to all the company's departments who have worked hard and consistently contributed to the implementation of AKHLAK core values in the work environment," said Subhan in the press release on Monday (7/18).
Subhan added that this achievement demonstrated the internalization of AKHLAK values in PTSG employees. He expected that this award could encourage all elements of the company's management, unit leaders, and employees to actively and passionately implement the AKHLAK values in their services.
"As a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (SIG), we will continue to apply basic moral values in a real and consistent manner and work harder and competitively in promoting Indonesia's infrastructure development," he said.
The director of ACT Consulting International, Ali Zainal Abidin, explained that the assessment was performed using the AKHLAK Culture Health Index (ACHI) of 141 SOEs and their subsidiaries from July 2021 to June 2022.
"There is an increase compared to last year. SOEs reach an average score of 50.1%, with a Trustful score of 51.4%, a Competent score of 48.8%, a Harmonious score of 46.5%, a Loyal score of 39.3%, an Adaptive score of 43.1%, and a Collaborative score of 53.1%, "explained Abidin.
Abidin added that the 2022 AKHLAK Award for SOEs exemplified collaboration and harmonization to develop the AKHLAK culture of national ecosystem.
