After 4 Days Opening, Semen Gresik-Assisted MSMEs Reaps IDR 74,9 Million Worth of Transactions at Ministry of SOE’s Bazar UMKM in Jakarta
Rembang, January 31, 2023 – The best, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) assisted by Rumah BUMN Rembang (RB Rembang) with the support of PT Semen Gresik (PTSG) and PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) managed to reap IDR 74,9 million worth of transactions in just 4 days at Bazar UMKM, which was held by the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) in Sarinah, Jakarta, January 26 – 29, 2023.
PTSG’s Senior Manager of Communication & CSR, Dharma Sunyata, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the RB Rembang-assisted MSMEs for their brilliant success of reaping tens of millions of rupiah worth of sales in just 4 days.
"It is quite exceptional results for bringing the best authentic products of Rembang Regency to compete at the national level at Sarinah, Jakarta," Dharma claimed in his press statement (31/1).
Dharma added that the eight MSMEs had previously undergone a strict selection process to participate in the national-level Bazar UMKM at Sarinah, and their products ranged from fashion to culinary, handcrafting, to beauty.
"The selected RB Rembang-assisted MSMEs are Keriyes, Kukuk, HSR, Akar Jawi, Little Kaaya, Gunung Kendil, Real Asto, and Arma Leather," Dharma explained.
He added, Bazar UMKM held by the Ministry of SOE was a brilliant opportunity for local products to get acknowledged and marketed more widely to the public, especially to the communities in the capital area, while Sarinah had become a shopping center marketing and supporting local products.
Dharma said that it was a form of support by PTSG to coach local MSMEs in Rembang Regency and to bring the MSMEs’ products to the highest level of their coaching journey at Rumah BUMN.
Meanwhile, one of the owners of the RB Rembang-assisted MSMEs, Widya Wijaya, expressed her joy and excitement for participating in the Ministry of SOE’s Bazar UMKM. It was an opportunity to promote and market the best local products in Sarinah, Jakarta. The event became an encouragement for MSMEs to continue to develop their business.
"We are very grateful to PTSG and RB Rembang for their support; we have now been able to reap the benefits, successfully reaping transactions of tens of millions of rupiah. We hope that RB Rembang will continue to consistently support the MSME ecosystem so that we are able to expand the market for our products globally," the owner of the Keriyes stated.
