Aiming to Surpass 300 Million Rupiahs Worth of Sales, Semen Gresik and Rembang’s Government Launch Hampers Berkah to Sell More Local, UKM Products
Rembang, April 1, 2023 – To celebrate 1444H Idul Fitri, Rumah BUMN (RB) Rembang which had been initiated by PT Semen Gresik and PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or SIG, in synergy with Pemkab Rembang (Pemerintah Kabupaten Rembang or Rembang’s Regency-level Government) again organized a launching event for Hampers Berkah UKM Rembang at a yard outside RB Rembang’s building (1/4).
The activity, organized to promote the consumption and absorption of the products of Rembang’s UKM (Usaha Kecil dan Menengah, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises), was attended by the Regent of Rembang H. Abdul Hafidz, the Head of Central Java’s Office of Cooperatives and UMKM Ema Rachmawati, and the Head of PT Semen Gresik’s Department of Communication and Legal Fardhi Sjahrul Ade, and also joined by hundreds of participants from private agencies, OPD (Organisasi Perangkat Daerah, organizations of local government agencies), Rembang’s UKMs, and public audience.
The Head of PT Semen Gresik’s Department of Communication and Legal, Fardhi Sjahrul Ade, thanked Pemkab Rembang and the stakeholders for their support for the local UKMs joining the Hampers Berkah UKM program.
“In 2022, we saw the enthusiasm and creativity of our UKMs in realizing the program. We hope that in 2023, the sales of Hampers Berkah will continue to increase,” he stated.
He continued that PT Semen Gresik was committed through RB Rembang to supporting UKMs in the form of mentoring, provision of facilities, and developing efforts for UKMs in Rembang and Blora.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Rembang, H. Abdul Hafidz, appreciated the initiative and the contribution of PT Semen Gresik to support the existence and development of UKMs by selling Lebaran hampers containing UKM products through RB Rembang.
“This is a good synergy among Pemprov Jawa Tengah (Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Tengah, Central Java’s Provincial Government), Pemkab Rembang, and PT Semen Gresik in their efforts to promote the growth of UKM, particularly in Rembang Regency,” he stated.
On the occasion, the Regent also encouraged officers of Forkopimda (a coordinating forum for regional leaders) and OPD, as well as those of agencies operating in Rembang and the guests of the events, to shop for lebaran hampers containing products made by Rembang’s UKMs.
The Head of Central Java’s Office of Cooperatives and UKM, Ema Rachmawati, stated that the collaboration between Rumah BUMN and Pemkab Rembang was a great effort, as not all offices of Rumah BUMN were as committed as the one at Rembang Regency.
According to the data, every year the sales of lebaran hampers by UKMs in Rumah BUMN Rembang recorded transactions worth hundreds of millions of rupiahs. This made Rembang Regency one of the regencies/cities with the most UKM hamper orders in Central Java.
At the 2023 launching event for Hampers Berkah UKM Rembang of 2023, Lebaran hampers would be offered with diverse packaging and product options, from products of food and beverages, crafts, and fashion, to Rembang-style batik. The prices would vary, from Rp100K Paket Khuldi, Rp200K Paket Al-Maqamul, Rp260K Paket Darussalam, Rp300K Paket Darul Muqamah, Rp500K Paket Mawa, Rp750K Paket And, to Rp1 million Paket Firdaus, the most expensive package of the available options.
