Answering Challenges of Industry, Semen Gresik Sees Increased Release Trend for Cement and Clinker in First Semester of 2023
Rembang, July 11, 2023 – PT Semen Gresik again saw a positive rising trend periodically for the release of bagged and bulk cement up to the end of the second quarter of 2023. The highest release of June was even the highest release of 2023.
Head of the Department of Production and Maintenance of PT Semen Gresik, Bangkit Nadyo Priambodo, expressed his appreciation to all teams in every line for the positive trend. According to him, this accomplishment was the result of the company’s strategies in supporting the production capacity and enhancing the efficiency of its operations.
“Based on the data as of May 2023, the release of bagged and bulk cement approached the company’s target. It is also noted that on June 14, 2023, the company reached its highest release. This is the highest release of cement achieved by PT Semen Gresik in the second quarter of 2023,” Bangkit said.
Bangkit explained that the company targeted the release of both bagged and bulk cement to the market in an amount that was optimized for its built-in capacity of 3 million tons. This, then, became the reference for all lines in increasing production performance and operation.
According to Bangkit, the increased demand from the market became a key factor and an opportunity that the company needed to capture and maximize to elevate production performance and operational excellence.
“To respond to the market’s increased demand, the company has performed improvements and enhancements in various lines of production, packing, and human resources,” said Bangkit.
Bangkit further added that the company continuously conducted research and development to produce new innovations to be able to meet high-quality standards. Such actions were important to establish the company’s position in the competitive cement industry.
