Rembang, December 16th, 2024 – PT Semen Gresik commemorated World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) 2024 by holding educational competitions that carry anti-corruption, such as educational snakes and ladders and coloring competitions. This activity was attended by dozens of SG employees, including employees from subsidiaries and affiliated companies (9/12).

Senior Manager of Legal & GRC PT Semen Gresik, Rivian Yuris Ardani, revealed that the purpose of this agenda is to increase anti-corruption awareness in the work environment. Through a fun approach, the company wants to instill integrity values to all employees.

“As a company that upholds the principles of good corporate governance, we continue to encourage an anti-corruption culture. Through activities like this, we hope that the anti-corruption message can be conveyed in a creative and easy-to-understand way,” he explained.

Yuris added that this activity is not just a competition, but also a momentum of reflection for all employees to continue to maintain integrity in carrying out their duties.

“Integrity is the key to the company's sustainable success. Corruption not only harms the company, but also the wider community. Therefore, Semen Gresik is committed to creating an environment that is clean from corrupt practices,” he said.

In the snakes and ladders competition with an anti-corruption theme, dozens of participants were invited to recognize the various negative impacts of corruption through a specially designed game. The game boxes contained educational information, ranging from examples of corrupt behavior to steps to prevent corruption. Meanwhile, the coloring competition was a view of the Rembang factory with the jargon “Semen Gresik AntiCorruption” to be used as a medium to increase employee awareness in all work unit areas.

“We believe that corruption eradication is a shared responsibility. Hopefully the anti-corruption spirit that we build today can have a positive impact on the company and society at large,” he concluded.
