Committing to Implementing GRC, Semen Gresik Wins the TOP GRC Awards 2022
Rembang, September 7, 2022 – PT Semen Gresik (PTSG) made an outstanding achievement by winning two prestigious awards at the TOP GRC Awards 2022 organized by TopBusiness Indonesia magazine at the Dian Ballroom Rafles Hotel Jakarta (6/9).
In this annual event, Semen Gresik won the #4 Stars and the Most Committed GRC Leader in 2022 for the PTSG President Director, Subhan.
The General Manager of the Communication and Legal Department of PTSG, Fardhi Sjahrul Ade, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the award. He considered this achievement a manifestation of the commitment and consistency of the company in implementing GRC (Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance).
"This award encourages us to implement GRC so that it can boost sustainable business growth and contribute to national economic development," explained Fardhi in his press release (6/9).
Editor in Chief of TopBusiness Magazine, M. Lutfi Handayani, mentioned that the TOP GRC Awards 2022 is the largest and most prestigious GRC award event in Indonesia, assessed objectively and independently by juries of more than 1,000 leading companies in Indonesia.
M. Lutfi explained that the TOP GRC Awards 2022, under the theme "GRC Empowerment in the Digital Era and its Support to the G20 Presidency", was carried out in cooperation with the Indonesian GRC Association, Indonesia Risk Management Professional Association (IRMAPA), Institute Compliance Professional Indonesia (ICoPI), and the Indonesian Professional Governance Association (PaGI).
"In addition to assessment and awarding activities, the TOP GRC Awards 2022 provides many aspects of shared learning in the GRC implementation, especially for the participating companies," stated M. Lutfi.
The Head of the Jury for the TOP GRC Awards 2022, Antonius Alijoyo, stated that the business performance of companies in Indonesia would remain safe and grow well with the more effective implementation of the GRC, maintaining and increasing public trust and investors within and outside the country.
