Focus on Village Development Through FMM Program, PT Semen Gresik Distributes Rp 800.000.000 in Pasucen Village Rembang
Rembang, August 8th 2024 – PT Semen Gresik Rembang Factory again distributed infrastructure cluster assistance through the Madani Community Forum (FMM) activity in Pasucen village, Gunem District, Rembang Regency. The total distribution of development operations in Pasucen village reached a total of IDR 800,000,000 from 2021 to 2024.
PT Semen Gresik's support through the FMM program targets the infrastructure cluster, the participatory-based community empowerment cluster, and the Socio-Cultural cluster.
Senior Manager of Communication & CSR of PT Semen Gresik, Sulistyono, revealed that there is a continuous increase in the distribution of assistance through the FMM program from year to year in the villages around the company.
"In Pasucen village itself, the details of the FMM program data start from 2021 the concreteization of the village main road with a total budget of IDR 175,000,000, in 2022 the construction of river retaining walls with a total budget of IDR 175,000,000, in 2023 and 2024 the construction of concrete drainage of the village main road with a total budget of IDR 225,000,000," explained Sulistyono.
Sulistyono added, through the FMM program is a clear proof of the company's commitment to help accelerate the development of village infrastructure in a sustainable manner in accordance with SDG's point 9, namely 'Building Resilient Infrastructure'.
"Therefore, the company's main target is to be able to become a supporting factor for village development that involves village communities in a participatory manner starting from planning, implementation, to monitoring and evaluation. So as to create a healthy social ecosystem, an improved economy and a sovereign village," he said.
Meanwhile, Pasucen Village Head, Salamun, appreciated and thanked the development assistance in Pasucen village. According to him, the development provides many benefits and positive impacts for the surrounding community.
"PT Semen Gresik Rembang Factory continues to strive to support and encourage the acceleration of development in our village. So, with the various distribution of this assistance, it is hoped that it can be utilized by residents to facilitate activities and improve the economy," he concluded.
