Semen Gresik Grabs 7 Awards, Achieves the Highest Diamond Predicate at the TKMPN XXVIII 2024 Event in Bali
Rembang, December 10th, 2024 – PT Semen Gresik once again recorded a brilliant achievement in the prestigious innovation event of National Quality and Productivity Meeting (TKMPN) XXVIII 2024 which was held in Bali (December 2 - 6, 2024).
Semen Gresik managed to obtain a total of 7 titles from the best innovators consisting of 1 highest Diamond title from the SS Banyu Umup 4 team, and 5 Platinum titles from the GKM Vane Of Life, GKM SIUU TWO, SS Oragedugo, SS Groot, SS X-Cross, and PKM Optimization Overlords teams.
Senior Manager of Communication & CSR PT Semen Gresik, Sulistyono, as a representative of the management expressed his gratitude and highest appreciation to the best innovators who have struggled and succeeded in presenting a proud achievement for the company.
“In this year's TKMPN event, Semen Gresik innovators were able to maintain the highest Diamond title. And proves that the company has many talents - superior talents in innovation,” explained Sulistyono.
According to him, the participation of Semen Gresik in the highest national level innovation competition is a form of commitment and full support of the company for innovation and continuous improvement in the work environment.
“This biggest innovation event is a strategic forum for exchanging knowledge and experience to improve the quality of company productivity. The company is committed to continuing to spur a culture of innovation to encourage process effectiveness, cost efficiency, and superior performance that leads to increased competitiveness,” he explained.
Meanwhile, the team leader of SS Banyu Umup 4, Ahmad Hasan, feels proud of this achievement, the award is the fruit of hard work of the team, all Semen Gresik people, and management who provide full support to innovators.

TKPMN XXVIII is organized by Wahana Kendali Mutu (WKM) in collaboration with the Indonesian Quality and Productivity Management Association (AMMPI), and supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower and the Indonesian Ministry of Industry. In 2024, the largest national innovation event was attended by more than 2,300 participants from 227 large companies in Indonesia, divided into 635 teams in various categories.
