Semen Gresik Launches the FMM Program (Civil Society Forum) 2021, Allocating 1.5 Billion Rupiah for Villages
Rembang, February 20, 2021- PT Semen Gresik (SG) once again showed their concern for the environment and social community through a joint discussion of the Distribution of Civil Society Form (FMM) SG in 2021 through its Corporate Social Responsibility unit (CRS).
This annual event discusses the allocation funds of CSR PTSG to support the development acceleration of Rembang village dan the community empowerment optimization. The discussion result agreed to allocate 1.5 billion rupiah for the FMM program based on community participatory and labor-intensive in 2021. The program will be distributed to the villages near SG in Rembang District and Blora District.
The Head of the Communications and CSR Unit, Dharma Sunyata, said that through the 2021 Civil Society Forum (FMM) program, SG had reviewed and determined the allocation of aid funds to meet the needs and target.
"In allocating the aid fund to the villages near the company, SG has determined the allocation fund percentages which divided into three sectors, namely 70% for infrastructure development, 20% for community empowerment, and 10% for socio-culture," said Sunyata in the press release in Saturday (02/20).
In the discussion, each representative of the village apparatus presented their report of the FMM program carried out last year and the 2021 program proposals. Subsequently, the CRS team of SG would provide input and evaluation for the program to be implemented more optimal in 2021 according to the community's needs.
The presence of the Inspector of Rembang District Inspectorate, Fahrudin, in the 2021 FMM joint discussion, also demonstrated the commitment to ensuring the joint supervision in the management of utilizing the budgets sourced from the village government spending or APBDes, including other types of fund such as SG aid fund through FMM.
The Head of the Community and Village Empowerment Agency of Rembang District, Sulistiyono, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for SG's efforts in assisting the welfare and the village economy. Sulistiyono reminded the village apparatus to provide extra care to the community during the increasingly severe Covid-19 pandemic.
"We would like to thank all SG directors committed with us and the village in developing Rembang and Blora District. This should be greatly appreciated," Sulistiyono said.
Kundari, the Head of Tegaldowo Village, informed that the FMM joint discussion is an annual routine. Kundari agreed that the program proposal must be carefully prepared with precise budget details.
"Before requesting the program, we have held a village council meeting first. Thereby, we could ultimately enjoy the benefits needed by the community," said Kundari.
Kundari continued that, this year, the infrastructure development and farmer group empowerment would be the featured program in her village.
