Semen Gresik Wins 7 Awards at the 2022 TKMPN in Lombok

Rembang, December 5, 2022 – PT Semen Gresik (PTSG) earned another remarkable achievement at the 2022 National Quality and Productivity Work Meeting (TKMPN) in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

PTSG carried off seven awards in total. Four Platinum awards were received by the Golden Cooler, Sumber Angin 5.0, SIUUU, and Rembang Gemilang teams. Meanwhile, the PKM Remas, Matador, and Minyak Goreng teams achieved three Gold awards in the bargain. 

The Head of Semen Gresik’s Management System Unit (SMSG), Nurhadi, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for PTSG’s innovation teams for presenting outstanding achievements for the Company.

“There is a significant improvement this year compared to our achievement at the 2021 TKMPN, which brought us two Platinums and six Golds home. This becomes a positive trend that we should pass along,” he confirmed.

PTSG’s participation at this event, according to him, demonstrated the Company’s commitment to and encouragement for innovations and continuous improvement in the workplace.

 “It is an outstanding achievement that the employees’ innovation becomes a manifestation of the Company’s competitive excellence in beating off intense market competition,” he mentioned in the press release (5/12).

This event, Nurhadi continued, was a strategic forum for exchanging knowledge and experience to improve the Company’s productivity. His team would continue to stimulate innovation to invigorate process effectiveness, cost efficiency, and performance excellence leading to increasing competitiveness.

Simultaneously, the SIUUU team’s PKM coordinator, Ilham Dirga, also showed his gratitude and appreciation for his team’s impressive achievement in becoming the Platinum Winner at the 2022 TKMPN in Lombok.

“Alhamdulilah, thanks to the team, facilitators, and all crews who have supported us. Hopefully, this achievement can be a new motivation to keep innovating and contributing positively to the Company,” he claimed.

Furthermore, he added, more new innovators are expected to emerge in PTSG. “We believe that our colleagues have lots of brilliant ideas which will definitely create a profound impact on the Company’s development,” he concluded.

The TKMPN was organized by the Quality Management Consultant (WKM) in collaboration with the Indonesia Quality and Productivity Management Association (AMMPI), supported by the Ministry of Manpower and the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. In 2022, the largest national innovation event was attended by 1,500 participants from 129 big national companies in the quality management and work productivity categories.
