Semen Gresik Wins Best Annual Report at the 2022 Public Relations Indonesia Award (PRIA)
Rembang, April 4, 2022 - PT Semen Gresik (PTSG) won the 2022 Public Relations Indonesia Awards (PRIA) from PR Indonesia for the BUMN Subsidiary category as the Silver Winner in the Annual Report subcategory.
This prestigious award in the public relations sector, which reflects the highest achievement in corporate communication performance, was handed over directly at the Grand Ballroom of Po Hotel Semarang on Friday (25/3).
Senior Manager of Communication and CSR of PTSG, Dharma Sunyata, expressed his appreciation, gratitude, and pride for Semen Gresik's achievement at the award. According to Sunyata, becoming the Silver Winner was a successful result of the team's hard work in getting the most out of the performance, programs, achievements, and information on various lines, both within the company and related to all stakeholders.
“The Annual Report represents our performances, achievements, and material information that we summarize through this document, which then provides adequate and much-needed information to the stakeholders of the relevant company. This appreciation from the 2022 PRIA award will drive us to better present a representative, accurate, and accountable annual report in the future," Sunyata said in the press release.
Sunyata added, the 2022 PRIA award under the theme 'Collaboration for National Awakening' also serves as proof of Semen Gresik's accomplishment in the public relations sector, particularly in building a positive image, strengthening harmonization with the community, and playing a pivotal role as a reference source of company information for all stakeholders.
This achievement, Sunyata continued, adds to the list of Semen Gresik's achievements in public relations. At the 2021 PRIA award held virtually, PTSG, as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), won two Golds for the category of SOE Subsidiary, Community Based Development Subcategory, and Best Company Profile Video.
The 2022 PRIA became a face-to-face gathering forum for PR practitioners throughout Indonesia after two years of online implementation. Prior to the award night, the two-day conference and workshop were held under the theme "Beyond Digital Communication: Humanism, Technology, and Empathy".
This event initiated by PR Indonesia came to be the most competitive event. A total of 782 works competed to win the categories of Owned Media, Digital Channels, PR Programs, CSR Programs, Crisis Management, Public Relations Management Manuals, PR Department, Brand Visual Identity, and Annual Reports.
The juries included PR and CSR experts, PR consultants/agencies, PR association/organization figures, senior journalists and photographers, design and branding experts, and social media experts.
