Rembang, August 18, 2022 - PT Semen Gresik's (PTSG) Rumah BUMN (RB) Rembang, managed in a co-partnership with PT Semen Indonesia (Company) Tbk (SIG), has made remarkable achievements in two years of operation by recording a total transaction of IDR2 billion with a total of 104 assisted MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) that have successfully upgraded and achieved significant business transformation.

CEO of Rumah BUMN Rembang, Yeni Indah Lestari, expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the success of RB Rembang during these two years of operation. One of the most significant achievements is the success in sending the five best-assisted MSMEs to deliver their products at the 2022 Tong Tong Fair in The Hague, the Netherlands, in September.

"Another achievement is successfully organizing a hampers sales program through the blessing gifts of Rembang SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) during Ramadan in 2021 with the highest total orders and transaction value in Central Java for the regency level," said Lestari in her press statement (18/8).

Lestari continued, Semen Gresik also granted appreciation and awards to MSMEs that have successfully grown and shown their business transformation optimally in a program filled by business practitioners and professionals in brand management, namely UMKM Kokoh 2021.

At a relatively young age, RB Rembang has recorded more than 13,584 transactions with 287 fostered MSMEs that have joined. RB Rembang has absorbed more than 1,500 workers since its operation began in 2020. In addition, it received more than 15,000 visitors and successfully held 56 training programs for various layers of MSMEs.

"RB Rembang always strives to have a positive impact on fostered MSMEs. It is expected that there will be an increase in the value of marketable products and a more sustainable business transformation," she said.

Lestari added that PTSG strengthens engagement with efforts to build a socio-economic value chain in the form of sales transactions, inseparable from innovation and synergy between institutions across stakeholders, especially the Central Java Provincial Government, Rembang Regency Government, Regional Organization, private agencies, and various communities.
