SG Ranked Excellent, the Highest International Award, in 2022 IQPC in Bali
Rembang, November 2, 2022 – PT Semen Gresik (PTSG), through the Sumber Angin innovation team, managed to achieve the highest award as they were ranked Excellent in the 2022 International Quality & Productivity Convention (IQPC) held in Bali on October 24 – 27, 2022.
PTSG’s innovation team gained the best achievement with the title "Reducing downtime due to the damage to the 20 kV medium voltage cable from 6,120 to 210 minutes in the crusher area of PT Semen Gresik’s Rembang Factory within four months".
IQPC is a prestigious innovation event, and this year, the event was conducted online and offline. This event was attended by 560 participants consisting of 114 teams from national and international companies and 10 judges from Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore. This year's IQPC used the theme, “Raise of Innovation Spirit to Overcome the Crisis”.
The Head of the Management System Unit of Semen Gresik (SMSG), Nurhadi, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the PTSG’s innovation team, the Sumber Angin team, who successfully presented a brilliant achievement by winning an Excellent rank.
"This is such an extraordinary and glorious achievement. This innovation can be the Company's competitive advantage amidst the increasingly intense market competition," said Nurhadi in his press release (2/11).
He added that this event was an opportunity for innovators to exhibit, promote, and exchange experiences in improving the quality and productivity of individuals and groups.
"We hope that the innovators can contribute to the Company in line with the objectives of operational excellence, maintenance excellence, and environmental excellence," he explained.
Meanwhile, the coordinator of the Sumber Angin team, Reza Arif Saifullah, expressed his pride and gratitude to the Company’s management for allowing them to represent PTSG in this year's IQPC.
