Successfully translucent the Chinese market, Arma Leather and Craft UMKM assisted by RB Rembang Semen Gresik
Rembang, March 6th, 2024 – Rumah BUMN (RB) Rembang Semen Gresik which is managed in co-partnership with PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) through the empowerment of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the operational area, by successfully assisting to reach the market to the national market to be able to go abroad.
Arma Leather and Craft, an MSME assisted by RB Rembang with superior products made from processed stingray skin including wallets, bags, belts, card holders, key chains, and bracelets owned by Ardiyansyah Priambodo managed to take advantage of opportunities to penetrate the international market.
"Alhamdulillah, there has been an increase in customers, not only from Rembang. There are also customers from Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and even outside Java, such as Medan, Palembang, Kalimantan, and Raja Ampat," said Ardiyansyah.
Ardiyansyah admits that his business now also has regular customers from China, who regularly order superior products. "In addition, recently there was also reseller interest submitted for the market in Malaysia," he explained.
Arma Leather and Craft has joined RB Rembang Semen Gresik since 2020. Besides entrusting products, Aridyansyah also regularly participates in various trainings, ranging from online marketing, and managerial, to participating in various MSME exhibitions.
Meanwhile, Senior Manager of Communication & CSR of PT Semen Gresik, Dharma Sunyata, said that the success story of Arma Leather and Craft further strengthens the determination and commitment of the corporation to continue to support the performance and growth of MSMEs in the operational area through mentoring and coaching to compete in the national and global arena.
