Encouraging the Acceleration of Village Development, Semen Gresik Distributes FMM Assistance to Six Villages in Rembang and Blora
Rembang, October 20th, 2023 – PT Semen Gresik through the Madani Community Forum (FMM) program again provides value by distributing assistance for the 2024 period to villages around the company in Rembang and Blora Regencies (18/10) in an event packaged in the joint deliberation activities.
Distribution of the program, which has been routinely carried out for the past six years, was handed over to the villages of Kajar, Timbrangan, Kadiwono, Pasucen, Tegaldowo, Rembang Regency and Ngampel Village, Blora Regency.
Present at the event was the Senior Manager of Communication and CSR of PT Semen Gresik, Dharma Sunyata, Eni Lestari as Head of the Infrastructure & Natural Resources Bureau of Central Java Province, Regional Secretary of Rembang Regency, Fahrudin, along with local government, village government, and representatives of Religious Leaders and Community Leaders from six villages.
Senior Manager of Communication and CSR of PT Semen Gresik, Dharma Sunyata, said that according to the results of the joint deliberation, it has been agreed that the allocation of financial assistance to the village focuses on the sectors of infrastructure development, community empowerment, and socio-culture based on community participation with labor-intensive management.
"Semen Gresik continues to be present in the community so that it can provide benefits for the creation of a healthy social ecosystem, improve the economy, and form a sovereign village," Dharma explained.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Infrastructure & Natural Resources Bureau of Central Java Province, Eni Lestari, revealed that the synergy between PT Semen Gresik and the community around the company has been running extraordinarily. "This can be an example for other regions so that it can provide many benefits in community empowerment," he said.
The same thing was also conveyed by the Regional Secretary of Rembang Regency, Fahrudin, who gave his appreciation for the distribution of FMM assistance to encourage the progress and welfare of rural communities in Rembang Regency.
On the other hand, the Head of Kadiwono Village, Ahmad Ridwan, said that many benefits have been obtained from the distribution of FMM assistance so far. "Hopefully, this good collaboration will continue and be improved for mutual progress," he said.
The Independent Community Forum is one of a variety of excellent programs including the environmental field through the Edupark & Integrated Livestock Plantation Agriculture (P4T) program, the agricultural field by forming Semen Gresik Sahabat Petani (SGSP), the arts field through Semen Gresik Sahabat Seni (SGSS), to the MSME Empowerment program Upgrade through Rumah BUMN Rembang.
