Keep Employee Fitness, Semen Gresik Cultivates Healthy Lifestyle through Run to Work
Rembang, February 2nd, 2024 – The management & employees of PT Semen Gresik together with the running community Semen Gresik Runners (Segers) held a joint running activity to the work area as well as symbolically inaugurating the new office of the Omah SG operational building of PT Semen Gresik with the theme "Run to Work to Omah SG" at the Rembang Factory, Wednesday (December 31, 2024).
The running agenda which covered approximately 3 km was attended by the President Director of PT Semen Gresik, Muchamad Supriyadi, Operation Director of PT Semen Gresik, Benny Ismanto, Finance and HR Director of PT Semen Gresik, Fardhi Sjahrul Ade, along with management and dozens of employees who are members of the Segers community.
Senior Manager of Communication & CSR PT Semen Gresik, Dharma Sunyata, said that the company invites all Semen Gresik people always to apply and maintain a healthy lifestyle, one of which is by exercising regularly.
"As the term men sana in corpora sano, namely in a healthy body there is a strong soul, this is the company's effort in paying attention to the health and fitness of employees so that the hope is to increase employee performance productivity in supporting the company's operational sustainability in the long term," he explained.
He added, that in Semen Gresik there are various sports communities such as running community, bicycle, badminton, tennis court, soccer, and other sports communities with full support from the company.
Dharma added that the run to work to Omah SG activity is also one of Semen Gresik's programs in cultivating a healthy lifestyle and encouraging employees to always be fit through regular exercise, nutritious and balanced food intake, and other productive activities.
