Semen Gresik Receives Prestigious National Award in IDEAS Awards 2024 in Malang
Rembang, July 30th, 2024 – PT Semen Gresik again made a brilliant achievement by winning a prestigious award at the 3rd Indonesia DEI & ESG (IDEAS) 2024 Awarding event organized by Public Relations Indonesia at Ascent Premier Hotel and Convention Malang, (26/7).
The awarding of the best IDEAS 2024 Silver Winner in the category of strategic public relations programs based on ESG practices, Environmental sub-category - the use of resources through Semen Gresik's Integrated Farming communication strategy.
Senior Manager of Communication & CSR PT Semen Gresik, Sulistyono, expressed his highest appreciation to all elements in the company that have contributed to the achievements that have been obtained. This is a form of public and stakeholder trust in the credibility of PT Semen Gresik in carrying out its operations.
He continued, an extraordinary score as well as a tangible form of commitment to environmental protection & excellence in social empowerment with local heroes and agricultural activists, PT Semen Gresik carried out organized and integrated agricultural management activities with the fulfillment of supporting facilities and agricultural education.
“The Integrated Farming system that has been implemented, including the Edupark integrated agricultural demonstration plot, horticultural plantation demonstration plot, agricultural reservoirs with a capacity of 15,000 m3, and communal cage farming areas,” he explained.
He added that the company continues to transform following the times, by utilizing various online media services as a forum for disseminating company information such as products and services, as well as company activities that are packaged with visuals and language that are easily digested by the audience.
Meanwhile, Founder and CEO of PR Indonesia, Asmono Wikan, is grateful that this activity is running for the third time and at the same time gives the highest appreciation to the participants of IDEAS 2024. This is an event that is the answer to global issues about ESG and DEI.
He added that this year's event received 178 entries, an increase from last year's 130 entries. “Alhamdulliah there is significant progress and there are 65 winners. We want to select the best work and congratulations to the winners,” he said.
