Semen Gresik Wins the Best Practice Category of Community Empowerment Management in the 2022 CSR Awards from the Central Java Provincial Government
Rembang, December 13, 2022 - PT Semen Gresik (PTSG) made another outstanding achievement by winning the 1st best executor among State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in the 2022 CSR Awards from the Central Java Provincial Government at the Gradhika Bakti Praja Building in Semarang (13/12).
The award was presented directly by the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, to the Director of Finance and HR of PTSG, Muchamad Supriyadi.
Supriyadi expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the remarkable achievement as the best executor of directed, measurable, integrated, and accountable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Central Java.
"PTSG's CSR has proven to be the best among 44 State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD), and private companies in Central Java after going through a rigorous selection process from the Central Java Provincial Government team," stated Supriyadi in his press release (13/12).
He continued, Semen Gresik remains committed to strengthening the implementation of corporate functions concerned about the environment and the social community.
"All of these achievements would not have been reached without the support of all lines of the company that have successfully carried out their functions and responsibilities in achieving sustainable development goals for the community," he added.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, expressed his highest appreciation, especially to BUMN, BUMD, and private companies that have actively contributed to the community's well-being.
"The more companies participate in implementing regional development programs in Central Java, the more we believe they will manage to support the acceleration of people's welfare and reduce poverty and unemployment," explained Pranowo.
This award extends the achievement list in the field of community engagement made by PTSG. Previously, PTSG won the 2022 Subroto Awards from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the 2022 TJSL & CSR Awards, and the 2022 TOP CSR Awards for the #Star 4 category.
