Semen Gresik Wins Best Brand SBBI Award 2020
Rembang – PT Semen Gresik won an award in the 2020 Solo Best Brand & Innovation (SBBI) Awards. The products of this prominence cement company were named the best brand in the cement category of Soloraya consumer choice in 2020.
SBBI was conducted by the Solopos Group, which is the most extensive media network in the Soloraya region. The SBBI event has been held routinely since 2001. The 2020 SBBI winners were announced through various media networks in the Solopos Group on Wednesday (17/6).
The Marketing Director of the Solopos Group, Suwarmin, thanked the sponsors, residents, who had become respondents and all parties, who had helped the implementation of SBBI 2020. This year's event is the 20th series of the best brand awards at Solo Raya.
This year, the SBBI award was held by adding research on innovation aspects in certain products. The research team surveyed tens of thousands of residents to confirm the utilization of specific goods and services.
"This research-based award is Solopos's choice because this is an objective way to measure brand performance in the consumer's perspective. With this model, Solopos also wants to maintain credibility both for brand holders and consumers," Suwarmin said on Wednesday (06/17/20200).
Solopos Group Solo Research Manager Sholahuddin added that this year, the SBBI created three market research models. Each model researched 66 product categories to identify the top brands, 5 product categories to discover prestigious brands, and three types for brand innovation research. So, there are a total of 74 product categories surveyed by Solopos.
A different instrument measures each research model. The SBBI 2020 survey employed a quantitative approach or measured the phenomena observed and manifested in numbers, as well as utilized a purposive sampling technique with strict requirements.
